The One Million Words
Campaign encourages students to reach the goal of reading one million words
per year and helps to create a culture of literacy in the school. The campaign unites the whole school
around reading. Students in fourth
grade self-select books at their independent reading level. After reading each book, the students
write a book response about it. Our
campaign usually includes:

· Response to Literature Choices
· Response to Literature Graphic Organizer
